Shape Blanking Stainless steel strips fed into blanking machines with dies in the size and form of the blank required, the top die is pressed upon the sheet and by cutting through cuts out a blank in the form of a paddle with handle attached –key blank |
Bowl Rolling The paddle of the key blank is inserted crosswise into the cross rolling machine, which is a heavy machine consisting of two rolls, between which the paddle of the key blank is rolled to the desired width and thickness for the bowl of the spoon /fork to be manufactured |
Heating Treatment The key blanks are put into a furnace where they are subjected to a temperature of 1000-1500°fahrenheit to in crease the toughness |
Handle buffing& Handle Forming 1.Remove the burr on the handle 2.Remove the pock marking on the handle 3.Note the design/Logo states 4.Top & Bottom mold fitting states |
